The Porsche Carrera GT is a German sports car that was first presented to the public in 2000 at the Geneva Motor Show. Its serial production continued in the years 2003-2007, ending with the production of 1,270 cars of this model. Production was concentrated in the city of Leipzig, Germany.

The Carrera GT model was developed and put into production to replace the 959 model in the Porsche offer. Harm Lagaay was the designer of the new car. Compared to its predecessor, the Carrera GT differs in several important elements. First of all, it has a completely new, newly developed chassis, while the body is based on that used in the 911 GT 1 Evo. The stylistics and broadly understood design of the new model have also been clearly changed. The Porsche Carrera GT is also powered by a completely different engine: a 5.7 liter 10-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 612 hp. The top speed of the Carrera GT is 330 km / h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h is a brilliant 3.3 seconds! It is worth adding, however, that the car is very difficult to control, it requires great attention and concentration from the drivers. The price of a used Porsche Carrera GT fluctuates around 620-780 thousand. Euro, depending on the technical condition of the car and its mileage.
